So I've been working hard on making tote bags and wallets based off of Lullaby and I'm finally finished. On the reading side of Chuck, I've just begun reading Stranger Than Fiction and I think it's pretty good so far....a little hard to get into but still good. Anyway, here are pictures of the finished bags (the wallets are almost done but they're a little more annoying to make) and I am selling them so let me know if you'd like one and we can do business :) I hope you like them!

I have a question for everyone...but first

I first got into Chuck Palahniuk on a whim...I knew he wrote Fight Club and I had loved the movie so one day while at the bookstore I just decided to buy Lullaby....I've been hooked ever since then.

To earn extra money I make and sell tote bags and right now i'm in the process of making one based off of Lullaby. One side will have the upside down yellow bird in neon yellow felt and the other side will have the grey scale house on the title page of the book with the words "Sticks and Stones May Break Your Bones, but Words Will Never Hurt You" coming out the chimney just as in the picture. So, here's my question: What color do you think I should do the bag? Inside and outside color....I've been thinking about this for awhile and can't make up my mind so any suggestions would be wonderful. I'm also going to make one with a stenciled tv set and the quote "These days, most of the people you hear laughing are dead."

I'd love to hear your favorite Chuck quotes so I can come up with more tote bag desings. Thanks for the help!

Hi! I'm new here. My name is Sara. I've read almost everything by Chuck (with the exceptions of Haunted and F&R). I met him at the Haunted signing in Los Angeles, cus that's where I live. I adore him, and I want him to fuck me sideways. Anyway, just wanted to say hello. Check out my journal if you have time. I just recently got really into this stuff. I want to meet some chuck fans. cool, ok, bye.

Two Bodies Dropped Like Flies. [28 Sep 2004|02:00pm]

I got to meet Chuck Palahniuk in Lansing! He read Guts! Two people passed out! He signed my copy of Choke and Fight Club and I got a picture with him, that picture is now the background of my cell phone : ) I also asked him about the Trent Reznor/David Fincher/20th Century Fox Broadway Musical rumor. He said it's true, he will be working with all of them in a Broadway Musical adaptation of his book Fight Club.

Thats like, my rock god and author god meeting together to create a new type of masterpiece. Can't fucking wait.

I don't know if it's true or not, but I'll let you decide what to do with it. [17 Sep 2004|08:57pm]

Let's see...I've read every book except Fugitives & Refugees, but I'm still trying to get a copy...just finished Stranger Than Fiction...it was alright, I loved the intro...I loved invisible monsters...sort of hated Diary (although I did love the way the main character had the same name as me, and was an artist, and was sort of driving herself insane)

from theninhotline.com

After being turned down to do the score for the Broadway musical, Aida, Trent Reznor has apparently agreed to work with Chuck Palahniuk and David Fincher on Fight Club: The Musical.

Palahniuk has been giving lectures at colleges around the country. Last night he spoke in Eugene, Oregon and responded to a few questions regarding the possibility of a Fight Club musical. One frequent visitor of this site, Jesse, was in the audience, and here's his recap:

Chuck just started laughing, and explained how David Fincher caled him awhile back and said some financers from the movie were interested in making a Broadway musical, and had contacted him. Chuck then went on to say Fincher explained he had already called Trent Reznor to ask him if he would score it, and he said yes.

I just added myself to a couple new Palahniuk communities, so if i posted this once before I'm sorry. Just trying to find people to do this with.

Last time I tried this it didnt work out so well. So this time I'm going to make it a little bit easier. IF any of you are from Michigan and would like to meet up with some fellow Palahniuk fans then this post is for you.

If you could, please leave your AIM sn and Location, I will contact you as you add your name on here and we can start planning stuff, make an email list, etc etc. I figure if I make a post like this once a month we could start building a Chuck Palahniuk Community for Michigan. It would be really awesome to have a some sort of "party" or get together.

If you aren't from Michigan but would come here to meet with us that would be cool too.

To start things off, here is my aim and location.
